By way of introduction…
Hi! I’m Dani Henderson and Pocket Admin is my labour of love.
I’ve worked in administration across a wide variety of industries for the past 20 years, including tertiary education, mining and construction, employment services, childcare, health and real estate.
In that time, I’ve lived in regional and rural towns across Queensland and came to realise that these communities are made up of intricate webs of small businesses. As I’ve seen the mining boom come and go and services shrink in the towns, these small businesses have become more and more apparent – and an ESSENTIAL part of these communities.
Anyone who has run a business knows that it truly is a labour of love and the financial strains can be immense. And so I decided to start introducing the idea of virtual assistance to the Emerald CQ region.
The benefits of virtual assistance are perfect for small businesses. You don’t need to support a permanent staff member that you can’t afford. You don’t have to deal with payroll tax or superannuation. You simply have someone that you can call on when you need a bit of help getting things done.
As a mother myself, I’m aware that so many small businesses are run by parents and families. And I love the idea that an hour I spend helping someone is an hour they can spend with their families – maintain that work-life balance!
And crazy as it sounds – I love all the admin stuff that most people hate!
BRING IT ON!
